Bushey man organises fundraising event in memory of girlfriend's mother

A fundraising event is set to be held in Bushey to collect cash for Myeloma UK.

Bushey resident Chris Lumm is hosting the event at the Horse and Chains pub in Bushey High Street, which is also in memory of his girlfriend’s mother, Jan Livings, who passed away in March from the illness.

So far the Herkomer Road resident has collected £2,000 for the charity, by taking part in marathons and through online donations.

The fundraising event at the Horse and Chains will be held on Sunday, December 2 and visitors can enjoy a DJ, buffet and raffle with prizes including spa days and restaurant meals for two.
