Football-loving youngsters can test their skills on a new shooting game designed to look like a snooker table.
The three meter-high Street Snooker wall was opened at King George V Playing Fields in Tolpits Lane on Saturday (December 15).
Children played on the new pitch, and were awarded prizes by mayor of Watford Dorothy Thornhill. She said: "We are pleased to offer this new experience that makes kicking a ball about more fun and more competitive. It was great to see local youngsters enjoying the game."
Richie Mooney, 17, won two tickets to watch the final of the Masters Snooker at Alexandra Palace in January after scoring 98 points.
Marco Boi, creator of Street Snooker, said: "Our new addition to Watford’s parks will engage in children, young people and adults alike in a unique play and sport activity without electronics."
