New Enterprise Allowance Scheme promises start-up business support for unemployed in Hertfordshire

Unemployed people in Hertfordshire could qualify for £1,000 and expert advice if they plan start their own business.
A Government initiative to help job seekers become self employed is being expanded in the county, meaning residents have until September to use the New Enterprise Allowance Scheme.
Under the scheme anyone claiming job seekers’ allowance can get business mentor support to help develop their plans to start a business.
People who come up with a viable business plan could then be entitled to over £1,000, over six months, to help with the start-up costs.
