Road works on the Rickmansworth Road, eastbound and along Hempstead Road

Works have started on two major roads in Watford today.

A lane has been closed on the Rickmansworth Road, eastbound, between the entrance of Cassiobury Park and the Colosseum.

The closure is for the replanting of new scrubs in the beds on the side of the road, is due to be in place between 9.30am and 4.30pm and is due to last until Thursday.

Stop-go boards are also in action along Hempstead Road by the traffic island just south of The Grove hotel.

The work for the installation of illuminated safety bollard and will also last until Thursday.

Would rather pot holes were filled. At least you can look at some nice flowers while you wait for the AA to come and change your tyre
