An armed man is being hunted by police after entering a Northwood business and threatening staff with a knife.

The offender threatened and demanded goods from a female member of staff at the Athena Place office but left empty-handed.

The incident happened on September 16, 2012 at around 5.30pm and the female was shaken but unharmed.

Police want to speak to an Asian man aged 30 to 32, of slim build with a black beard in connection with the incident.

DS Keith Bowen of the Metropolitan Police said: "We are really keen to speak to the man in the image or anyone who can assist in identifying him. I would appeal to anyone who has further information that can assist with our investigation to contact us."
