Train passengers advised 'allow more time' before tomorrow's snow in south west Hertfordshire
6:00pm Thursday 17th January 2013 in News
By Zoe Forsey, Reporter
Train passengers are being asked to check services before leaving the house tomorrow as south west Hertfordshire prepares for more snow.
First Capital Connect is asking people to check their website for delays or cancellations.
Roger Perkins, a spokesman from the train operator, said: "We have prepared as much as possible for the forecasted snow across England tomorrow and we will be working closely with Network Rail if we need a response to any issues with the track, power supply or signalling.
"However, disruption is likely and we strongly advise customers to allow more time for their journeys and to check before they travel."

Just imagine living in Sweden, Canada or even New York City where they don't have any railways at all because of frequent snow. The Trans-Siberian railway was a myth made up by the Soviet Union. It isn't real.
It might take another 100 years of research and development before a train system can function when faced with an inch of snow. And of course, ticket prices will have to rise accordingly.

I wonder how many Engineers Francis Combe Academy will spawn to solve the one inch snow issue for trains in England.

That would save the students 4 years of study at a cost of over £40k (including living costs) on a Media related programme after which they are likely to face the second highest graduate employment rates http://www.v3.co.uk/
