Five friends from Watford are embarking on a 338 mile cycle trip across Europe in order to raise money for a local cancer trust.
Lee Carter, Stewart Read, Paul Manning, Matt Springham and Gavin Brown will ride from London to Amsterdam, and then down to Brussels over 4 days in May.
The team is named Mary's Boys, and hopes to raise more than £7,500 for the Cancer Treatment and Research Trust, which is based at Mount Vernon Hospital in Northwood.
Mary's Boys was formed in memory of Mary Carter, Lee’s mother who passed away last year from cancer.
Various fundraising events will take place before the ride, including a stationary cycle outside the Oxhey Village bakers on February 16.
