A mural designed by art students, which has brightened up a central Watford underpass, was officially opened this week.
The art work on the Clarendon Road subway, which has been gradually appearing over the last few months, is the work of West Herts College students and is called the Culture of Watford.
Elected mayor Dorothy Thornhill was on hand for its official opening this week.
West Herts College course leader Debbie Crooks said: "The ‘Culture of Watford’ project was a great collaboration with Highways Agency and Watford Borough Council. It was a satisfying project and the students can feel they have made a contribution to their community."
