Athletic youngsters who dream of being the next Rebecca Adlington or Liam Tancock can benefit from free swimming practice outside their usual lessons.
Juniors enrolled in the swim school at Sir James Altham Pool in South Oxhey can swim for free on Saturdays.
It is hoped the weekend sessions may also encourage more parents to come down and support their young athletes.
Gary Foley, manager at Sir James Altham Pool, said: "The 2012 games have left us with a fantastic legacy and it’s our responsibility to ensure we build on this.
"Swim School pupils may also find that this extra free practise helps them to progress through their swim development programme more quickly, plus it’s a great way to spend some time at the weekend.
"Plus parents are able to support their children and get themselves a bit fitter, so the whole family benefits."
