A new fundraising team in Watford is appealing for volunteers to help them to raise money for a cancer charity.
The Macmillan Cancer support Watford fundraising group will be holding their first collection event next month and is on the lookout for volunteers to support their weekend.
Kerry Briars, Watford’s fundraising manager for the charity, said: "If you are able to spare a short amount of time you could help to make a real difference to the lives of people affected by cancer.
"For example if you help to raise £25 then that could pay for a Macmillan Nurse for an hour and give someone a pain free hour, so if you are able to help please do get in touch."
The first collection will take place outside the Watford Tesco Extra on Friday, February 22.
