A fundraising group will take to the stage on Friday at St Helens Hall, The Harebreaks, Watford, as they raise money for the Peace Hospice trek to India in May 2013.

A group of 10 local people will be travelling to Delhi to work on a charity project and trek the Himalayas whilst raising money for the hospice.

Creative Academy dance student, Hannah Aylward, will be putting the group through their paces as they learn dance moves from the cult classic Grease.

Rachel Fowler, corporate development manager of the Peace Hospice, who will be joining the dancers said: "Fundraising events like this, where people give up their time, are invaluable to us as we try and raise the £3.8m that we need to continue to provide our services, free of charge, across South West Hertfordshire."

Mary Pinkstone who is taking part in the trek said: "I am a great fan of the musical and look forward to trying to re-create the dance moves in the film whilst raising money for the hospice, it's a wonderful charity that deserves our support."

Savills Estate Agents are supporting the group and other fundraising events including a Bollywood Night on Saturday, March 2.
