At about 2.30pm a man attached a car to the trailer and drove off.
The man has been described as white, of a stocky build, 5ft 9ins tall and in his late 20s or early 30s, with short light brown hair. He was wearing a black jacket.
The car he attached to the trailer is described as a large, dark grey 4x4 vehicle.
There was a spare wheel attached to the outside of the trailer.
