Tandoori restaurant holds dinner for Breast Cancer Care
A tandoori restaurant in Abbots Langley have hosted a fundraising dinner to raise over £1,200 for a cancer charity.
More than 100 residents turned out to Abbots Tandoori in Langley road to enjoy a charity dinner and raffle to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.
Visitors took part in a raffle, offering a range of prizes including meal vouchers, toys, hair salon vouchers, champagne and wine, which were donated by local businesses and residents to go towards the £1,252 that was raised on Monday, February 4.
Shah G Ambia, the owner of the restaurant, said: "It was a really wonderful evening and everyone really enjoyed themselves.
"We have been here for 25 years and wanted to give something back and raise money for a good cause.
"This was our first charity event and we plan to do many more. I would like to thank everyone for all their support and generosity."
