Watford Mencap to host annual Rickmansworth Pancake Race

Teams from across south west Hertfordshire are preparing to compete in the Rickmansworth Pancake Race.
The event next Tuesday (February 12) is being organised by Watford Mencap which is urging residents to come down and cheer the packed lineup.
Three Rivers District Council Chairman, Kemal Butt will start the race at 11am and the winning team will collect either a case of champagne or, if they are under 18, a slap up meal at the Coach and Horses.
All money raised from the event will go to Watford Mencap.
Fundraising assistant, Rachel Schmitz said: "It’s a really fun event and an annual tradition in Rickmansworth.
"It brings the community together and all the money raised is for a great local charity. Teams are now full but we’d love it if people came along to support the event and cheer the runners on."
