Lower High Street in Watford to close this evening

A main road in central Watford is due to be closed tonight for emergency works on a collapsed manhole cover.

The Lower High Street will be closed by the Seat Garage and B&Q from 8pm, and repairs are expected to last around four hours.

During the closure traffic will be diverted around Dalton Way along Waterfields Way and onto the ring road.

Erm... not sure I understand the diversion plan... that's the way the traffic goes anyway. Do you mean that Waterfields Way will be closed to Southbound traffic between the Colne Valley Retail Park roundabout and the junction of Dalton Way and Lower High Street, traffic being diverted back up Waterfields Way and onto the ring-road, Vicarage Road, Wiggenhall Road and Eastbury Road to Bushey Arches?
