Watford homeless charities raise £2,500 in sleepout in Charter Place
Residents in Watford spent the night sleeping rough at the weekend to raise £2,500 for a homeless charity.
On Friday (February 1) 49 people spent a night under the stars to raise funds and awareness for homelessness in Watford.
Around £2,500 has been raised so far, which will go towards helping homeless residents and finding them somewhere safe and warm to sleep, to help them rebuild their lives.
Among those that took part in the Sleepout, were church youth groups and a group of Harley Davidsons enthusiasts called the Cream Tea Brigade.
Watford Mayor, Dorothy Thornhill also attended to talk to residents.
