A club in Abbots Langley is grateful after receiving a £500 donation from the Abbots Tough Ten proceeds.
The Monday Club, a social club for people with learning difficulties, was presented with £500 to go towards the cost of a musical show, We Will Rock You, which they are holding later this year.
The charity race, including 3k, 5k and 10k run in October last year, has raised approximately £8,000 in sponsorship for local charities and organisations.
John Fisher, chairman of the club said: "The tough ten organisation has supported our club for more than 15 years donating over £8000.00 over this period. We really do appreciate their support over such a long period.
"2012 was our 25th anniversary and we really had a successful year fund raising and spending the money on our members.
"We now have 38 members and from Parmiter’s School we have 16 members, they are a terrific bunch of youngsters, a credit to the school, their parents and to their generation."
The clubs' We Will Rock You show will take place on Saturday April 6.
