Collapsed power lines at Radlett railway station have caused the cancellation of trains between Luton and St Pancras in London.

Buses will run between St Albans and Hatfield station, connecting First Capital Connect customers with Kings Cross.

First Capital Connect services from Sutton and Sevenoaks will start and terminate at London Blackfriars or London Victoria East Midlands.

Trains cannot run between Luton and London St Pancras International. Replacement buses are being sourced.

Southeastern trains are unable to run between Kentish Town and Denmark Hill, trains will be diverted via London Victoria.

Passengers on First Capital Connect, East Midlands Trains and Southeastern can use the following services on any reasonable routes:

  • Southern CrossCountry
  • London Midland
  • East Coast
  • London Overground
  • London Underground
  • East Midlands Trains
  • UNO buses.

District councillor Alec Campbell said: "I'm travelling back from London to St Albans via Hatfield. Seems to be working okay but probably over one hour delay in total."

Good job there's no massive Rail Freight Depot planned for Radlett eh? D'oh! Well done, Eric. Another winner.
