Generous Watford residents have donated more than £1,000 to a free talking newspaper.
Watford & District Talking Newspaper for the Blind held its annual bucket collection and more than 40 bucket collectors stood along the High Street, in Charter Place and The Harlequin on February 2.
The charity provides 100 residents of Watford and Three Rivers with audio versions of articles from the Watford Observer every week, free of charge.
The Talking Newspaper is a free weekly service and delivery can be arranged by ringing 01923 249139.
