Grant helps keep hospital radio broadcasting with new equipment

Watford Hospital Radio has been given council cash to buy new equipment.

The station, which broadcasts to patients and staff in Watford General Hospital, has received £659 from Hertfordshire County Council to help it purchase PC monitors and a laptop for outside broadcasts.

The money has come from the council’s locality budget scheme.

A good cause by all accounts but it should not be down to the generosity of one councillor using our money to do this.

I always suspect payments made by politicians just before they come up for re-election.
