Sports clubs in the borough of Dacorum could benefit from a grant of up to £100 to improve their facilities.
Dacorum Borough Council is offering small grants of up to £100 in an aim to support clubs or groups that would like to buy sports equipment or support a sport or recreational activity.
David Gill, group manager at the council said: "We wanted to do something to keep the momentum of the Olympic spirit alive in Dacorum and we know that sport and physical activity contribute to health and wellbeing.
"These grants are one way we are supporting that aim and we would like to see applications from clubs that encourage participation from new members and those with a range of abilities, support healthy weight loss, physical activity and a healthy lifestyle."
