Residents from a care home in Kings Langley were in the mood for romance as they marked Valentine’s Day.
Garrad House, in Rockliffe Avenue held a party to celebrate ‘what makes the world go around’ and friends from the community were also invited along.
To mark the day tables were decorated with roses, petals and heart shaped candles and women received chocolate red roses and chocolate hearts.
Sharon Goodman, manager at Garrad House said: "Special thanks should be given to the cooks who excelled themselves providing a top class meal and to our volunteer waitresses.
"It just goes to prove that you are never too old for love and romance."
