A car was left overturned after a crash in Bushey Heath.

The black Vauxhall Astra flipped onto its roof in High Road yesterday and a man who was taken to hospital.

Louise Ivemey, 33, in the High Street with her husband and mother-in-law at the time of the crash.

Ms Iverney, who lives in Abbots Langley, said the incident happened at about 10.30am.

She said: "I heard like an impact first, and as I turned around you just saw the back end of the car flip straight over."

Louise had the day off from her job as an administration worker in Hatfield.

She added: "I went up to the guy who managed to get out of the car by crawling out of it."

The road had to be closed from around 11.45am for one hour.
