The event will take place on Wednesday March 6 at the Town Hall, at 2pm and 7pm, lasting about two hours each.
Mayor Thornhill said: “I’ll talk a bit about local people’s satisfaction and our challenges ahead, and then go on to talk about the exciting plans for the future of the town.”
If you would like to attend, please let Kathryn Robson know by Monday March 4 by emailing kathryn.robson@watford.gov.uk or by calling 01923 278077.

One of the major reasons for this is the unpalatable fact that few intercity trains now stop at Watford as they did for decades.
That's why what was the commercial hub of SW Herts is going down the drain fast.
Want to go anywhere on the West Coast Line north of Birmingham then travel in to Euston, pick up a through-train which takes you straight back to Watford? Otherwise you're into slow trains and changes all over the place.
Harringtonand Thornhill haven't a clue - at least Ward was well aware of this situation and fought hard for us. She got as far as Oyster cards being accepted on Midland Trains into London and was fighting the no-stopping-at-Watfo
rd brigade tooth and nail.
Thornhill just let it happen, anyone else notice how few National Brands have their regional offices in Watford these days?

Watford is becoming a dormitory town.

But are we building more sterile drone like shiny impersonal environments where there is increasingly less interaction between people of different ages, backgrounds and cultures on the Darwinistic assumption that’s what people want as with supermarkets?
