Police have released a CCTV image of a woman after items were stolen from a Mill End petrol station.

Hertfordshire Constabulary said a suspect was seen on camera placing items in a trolley in the BP garage in Uxbridge Road at around 6.40pm on Monday January 4.

Officers said the suspect gave one item to a female she was with to pay for but then left the service station with the trolley without paying.

Anyone with information should contact PCSO Jenny Stredwick via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference number C2/13/238.

Not exactly crime of the century !
Can anybody really be ar*ed to call crimestoppers only to be told "there's nobody to deal with it rite now but give us your details & we'll be in touch"

I think it looks like she made a mistake. You know like when you go into a petrol station and then get a call and drive off, forgetting to pay. Or when you accidently climb in someone's window and take a bottle of beer from their fridge.

I went 3p over £30 in petrol, handed over two twenty pound notes and whereas most petrol garages would let the odd pence go, the guy in there split a tenner so he could get his 3p.... extortionate prices in the shop, cafe and tobacconists too.....
