Watford 2F Squadron Air Training Corps' volunteers raise over £1,000 for Royal Air Forces Association

Air cadets raised more than £1,000 in donations from generous Watford shoppers.

Volunteers from the Watford 2F Squadron Air Training Corps, as well as members of the Abbots and Kings Langley Branch of the Royal Air Forces Association, collected £1013.85 from shoppers outside Asda in Watford on Saturday, January 26.

The money will go to the Royal Air Forces Association, a charity providing care and support to serving and retired members of the RAF.

But well dont to the cadets on raising this money and to those that gave so generously too.

Its nice to hear positive stories of the youth of today, these cadets raising this money and those kids planting 200 trees we were told about the other day are examples of how on the whole they are not the menaces the media would like to make us think they are but positive contributers to our communities
