Traffic problems after six-ton lorry breaks down in Tolpits Lane

A six-ton lorry is causing traffic congestion after breaking down in West Watford this morning.

Police were called to the incident in Tolpits Lane at 8.29am and said the lorry’s company had been informed.

Traffic is currently being diverted away from the area.

As a town with narrow streets especially in congested West Watford, it seems any hiccup seems to cause chaos.

As I have already stated, the area needs lots of new roads because any tiny problem causes huge hold-ups.
