The Peace Hospice put on a celebration of all things Welsh this weekend to mark St David’s Day.
Staff at the Watford hospice chose a Welsh theme for the fundraising coffee morning on Saturday March 1 and, with help from the Watford Welsh Society, put on traditional entertainment and decorations.
The event included a raffle, traditional entertainment, traditional food, a Welsh memorabilia display, bric-a-brac and a tombola and raised £800 for the hospice.
Community fundraising manager Gill Crowson said: "It was very well attended, we had a brilliant morning and a lot of new visitors.
"We do four coffee mornings per year and we theme them, this was our first Welsh coffee morning."
