Over £1,000 raised in quiz for Home-Start Watford and Three Rivers

More than 100 people attended the annual Home-Start Watford and Three Rivers quiz at the Fairway Inn, Rickmansworth, and helped raise £1,200 for the charity on Saturday.

The money will go towards training new volunteers to support families in the community.

Last year Home-Start helped 136 families in Watford, Three Rivers and Bushey.

The winning team, "‘The Dreamers", was made up of Home-Start volunteers and their friends. They won a cup filled with goodies donated to the charity.

Scheme manager Emma Power thanked everyone for their continued support especially those who volunteer for Home-Start.
