Abbots Langley Youth Football Club has received a £350 cash boost to pay for new equipment.

It is up to each councillor to decide how to allocate the money; they look for worthwhile projects in their community that promote social, economic or environmental well-being. Applications for funding can be submitted by community groups and organisations.
Some organisations like Watford Hospital Radio get grants from more than one councillor.
so if you feel strongly about any or all of the allocations you can complain directly to the relevant councillor(s).

Last week a County Councillor told me that payments like this one are awarded by individual councillors from their own £10,000 pot of the locality budget. The WO does not publish the name of the councillor because they think that smacks of buying votes. But there is more information on the HCC website where you can see the grants made by each of the 77 councillors.
