Scholarships awarded to Bushey pupils
The headteacher of a Bushey prep school is ‘so proud’ of her pupils after they received five scholarships.
The Year Six class at St Hilda's Preparatory School for Girls is composed of just 12 pupils and the scholarships will assist the girls in their secondary education.
Headteacher, Tracy Handford, said: "This is such an exciting time for them."
She said her students, as they progress in their education, will be transferring to senior schools perfectly suited to their individual strengths and personalities.
She added: "They have all worked so hard and their success is very well deserved."
Amongst the recipients were Ashley Tan, Anisha Mehta, Lola Forsyth and Jorja Douglas who was given two scholarships.
