Traditionally made wooden gates were lowered into place at Cassiobury Bridge Lock on Friday, March 1.

A specially-designed crane mounted on a narrow boat was used to remove the old steel gates and replace them with wooden ones.

The work was carried out by a special team from the Canal and River Trust.
