A Rickmansworth teacher will travel the world to learn more about the teaching of ICT.
Andrew Buddie, head of ICT at Royal Masonic School in Chorleywood Road, has been awarded a prestigious Churchill Fellowship by the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust.
Mr Buddie is one of 125 fellows selected from more than 1,000 applicants and will travel to the USA, Spain, Colombia and Estonia for up to six weeks to investigate the teaching of ICT in these countries.
He will then share his findings at conferences and school visits and also intends to set up a non-profit foundation to promote the best practice that he discovers in the teaching of ICT abroad.
