South Oxhey residents can find out more about the agencies that protect their community at the community involvement day tomorrow (Saturday, March 9).
Police, fire fighters, trading standards, neighbourhood watch, Thrive Homes and the council’s community safety team will all be at the event outside Watford Rural Parish Council between 11am and 4pm.
There will also be Watford community safety partnership’s media van there including a very large video screen to play Wii games on, face painting, dog micro-chipping and a number of other activities.
Councillor Roger Seabourne community safety portfolio holder for Three Rivers, said: "This is a great opportunity for the local residents to come along and talk to all the agencies involved with protecting their community and making them safer places to live.
"If anyone has any questions, this would be an ideal opportunity to come along and ask us. We have included some fun elements too to encourage all ages to come along and get involved."
