Abbots Langley by-election called after Ivy Young death

A by-election to replace the seat of former Abbots Langley parish Councillor Ivy Young will take place in May.
The vacancy has arisen in the Leavesden ward following the death of former parish councillor Young, who died in February after her health deteriorated following a stroke in November last year.
She was born at her house in Langley Lane, where she lived her whole life and served for the parish council for more than 18 years.
The election will take place on Thursday, May 2.
