Road maintenance works planned for Bovingdon

Extensive road maintenance works are due to take place in Bovingdon next month.

Hertfordshire County Council intends to close off various roads, with the installment of temporary waiting restrictions while highways maintenance take place for seven days sometime between April 8 and April 30.

The roads include:

• The length of Bovingdon Green from its junction with Bovingdon Green Lane south eastwards to its junction with Water Lane, a distance of approximately 460 metres.
• The length of Church Street from its junction with Chipperfield Road north eastwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Church Lane, a distance of approximately 366 metres.
• The length of Church Lane from its junction with High Street north eastwards to its junction with Church Street, a distance of approximately 215 metres.
• The length of Leyhill Road/Pudds Cross/Maple Hill from its junction with B4505 Chesham Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 1523 metres.

Alternative signed routes will be provided for traffic whilst the road closures are in place.
