Watford goes green for St Patrick's Day celebrations
Watford residents celebrated all things Irish on Sunday to mark St Patrick’s Day.
Celebrations took place in pubs and homes across the town but nowhere-more-so than in the Watford Irish Club.
The club has been based in Wiggenhall Road since 1991 but faces an uncertain future as the pressure of mortgage repayments against falling membership numbers.
But on Sunday the mood was one of celebration as revellers dressed in green and enjoyed a pint or two of the black stuff.
