People in Bedmond can meet their local police officers as part of a crime prevention drive in the village this month.
Officers from Abbots Langley and Chorleywood Safer Neighbourhood Team will be on hand to advise residents at the meeting on Sunday, May 19.
There will also be the opportunity to get valuables, such as bikes and mobile phones, security marked for free.
The team will also be joined by local Neighbourhood Watch members who aim to create new Neighbourhood Watch schemes in the area to act as deterrents to criminals.
PCSO Emma Coyle from the team who is organising the event said: "It would be fantastic to see as many members of our community as possible.
"This is the opportunity to speak about those issues in your area that are worrying you and receive some practical, real time advice on crime prevention’ "There’s no need to book a place, just turn up on the day."
The team will be at Bedmond Village Hall, on Bedmond High Street between 1.30pm and 3pm.
