Dione Grimston Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire to open pontoon for disabled sailors at Rickmansworth Aquadrome

The Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire is to open a new pontoon for sailors with disabilities in Rickmansworth.

Dione Grimston, Countess of Verulam, will open the pontoon at Rickmansworth Aquadrome on Monday on behalf of the Colne Valley Sailors.

The new pontoon was funded by a grant from Sport England.

The Lord Lieutenant is The Queen’s representative in the county, Ms Grimston was appointed to the position in June 2007.
