Residents are invited to have their say on how Hertsmere Borough Council spends their money.
The council’s financial strategy provides a framework to manage council resources over the next five years (to 2017/18).
Finance Portfolio Holder, Councillor John Graham, said: "With the ongoing economic climate, ever decreasing grants from central government, we - along with other local authorities in the UK - are still facing challenging times ahead.
"But with our sound financial management we are confident we can continue to balance our budget while minimising the effects of recession on our residents."
To have your say on the strategy visit www.hertsmere.gov.uk/finance and send your comments to accountancy.finance@hertsmere.gov.uk by June 10.
The strategy will be discussed at the council's executive meeting on June 19.
