Entrepreneurs, artists, students and charities are being called on to take part in a central Watford summer market.

Organisers of the Queens Road Summer Market are looking for stall-holders to take part in the event, which starts next month.

The event is now in its third year and last year had stall-holders selling everything from hand-made jewellery, vintage, fashion and bric-a-brac.

The market also had live street performances and hot food stalls.

Councillor Helen Lynch said: "We are looking for budding entrepreneurs or charities, students or artists to set up a stall.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to sell your art, or launch a new business venture, or sell home-made produce. We are very excited about this venture - it will certainly bring some sparkle to Queens Road."

The market starts on Saturday, June 29 from 10am until 4pm and will then run every other Saturday until August 24.
