A Watford charity celebrated its 20th birthday on Tuesday by enjoying a slice of cake.
Home Start Watford and Three Rivers invited residents along to get a chance to meet past and present volunteers, trustees, founders and supporters and view boards displaying 20 years of memories.
Jane Greaney, from Home Start, said: "It was a fabulous day and a really wonderful, relaxing afternoon.
"We had a stream of visitors coming through and it was fantastic to see people enjoying the display boards and remembering times themselves.
"Doreen Garrett, an original trustee who joined the board 20 years ago and is still with us today, was also there which was lovely.
"It is rewarding for our volunteers to know that the work they are doing is having a good impact on the community."
The voluntary organisation based in Lord Street is dedicated to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age.
