A district council has lodged a request with the High Court to have its judicial review application, which was turned down last week, reconsidered.
In February St Albans District Council sought a judicial review of the decision by the Secretary of State Eric Pickles, who said he was minded to approve plans to build a rail freight interchange on Radlett Airfield.
The council want to challenge Mr Pickle’s decision not to re-open the planning inquiry into the application and conjoin it with an inquiry into an alternative site near Slough.
The application for judicial review was turned down by the High Court in an order issued on Friday.
The renewal application lodged with the High Court today seeks an oral hearing before a High Court judge to have the Judicial Review application reconsidered.
