Work will soon start on a £400,000 project to improve a north Watford park.
Watford Borough Council is due to revamp Callowland Recreation Ground after residents complained it "looked tired".
Councillor Keith Crout, cabinet member, said: "Callowland Recreation Ground is a very well used park in north Watford.
"We know how important our parks and open spaces are to residents, which is why we are investing in these well used assets. These improvements will make the park even more enjoyable for all who visit."
Work is due to begin in early July will an expected completion date of mid November this year.
Paul Rabbitts, the council's head of parks and open spaces, added: "With the ongoing proposals for the restoration and improvements to Cassiobury Park, it is important not to forget the many other parks our residents use on a daily basis and with this investment programme these popular parks will once again be of a standard we expect for Watford’s parks."
