The chairman and secretary of Watford Pubwatch have been convicted of breaching the terms of their licence during a celeb-filled event last year.

Richard Valentine and Alison Brown, who ran Paparazzi in The Parade, were convicted of not having a working ID scanner on site during the Musik 4 You event last October.

The couple ran Paparazzi in The Parade where stars from TV’s Made in Chelsea, The Only Way is Essex and Geordie Shore mingled with fans.

Ms Brown was convicted of a further offence of obstructing a police officer in the execution of their duties.

Mr Valentine was fined £700 and Ms Brown, who is designated premises supervisor, was fined around £800 and has had her licence to sell alcohol suspended for six months.

The couple, of St Michael’s Road, Ashford, Middlesex, were also ordered to pay prosecution costs.
