Lorry drivers hit by fuel thefts in Carpenders Park
Fuel thieves have stolen thousands of pounds worth of diesel from parked lorries in Carpenders Park during two recent incidents.
The first theft took place from inside a locked compound within the Carpenders Park Cemetery, on Oxhey Lane, between 5pm on Monday, July 29 and 7am on Tuesday, July 30 when fuel was stolen from Carpenders Park.
A second incident took place between the hours of 1am on Friday, August 2 and 4.30am on Saturday, August 3 when more than 1,000 litres of diesel was stolen from a number of parked lorries in a haulage yard in Oxhey Lane.
PC Daniel Jones said: "If you have any information about where the fuel was going or sightings of any vehicles or vessels that were used to transport the fuel, I would like to hear from you.’’
