Former Arsenal heroes and celebrities are to play in a charity football match in Croxley Green to raise money in the name of a young girl with a rare form of cancer.
Katie Joyce, 4, has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of cancer predominantly affecting young people.
Katie is currently undergoing chemotherapy in Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
The match between Katie’s All Stars and an Arsenal ex pro and celeb 11 will take place at Croxley Guild Football Club on Sunday, August 25.
In conjunction with the match her father Keith is organising a charity raffle and auction, and will also be producing a matchday programme which local companies can pay to advertise in.
