Golfer driven by charity challenge at Porters Park Golf Club
A charity golf challenge will be held in Radlett next month.
The event, called A Day in 80 Holes, will take place at Porters Park Golf Club, in Shenley Hill, on Monday, September 9.
The challenge will see Richard Malone, of accountancy firm Hillier Hopkins, playing 80 holes to raise money for the Marie Curie Research Wing, at Mount Vernon Hospital.
Mr Malone has raised more than £8,000 in so far.
Organisers expect the challenge will take 12 hours to complete, which should encompass 22 miles, with Mr Malone taking an estimated 420 shots.
