Watford to mark Learning Disability Awareness Week
As part of a drive to tackle the stigma against people with learning disabilities, information stalls and activities will be set up around Hertfordshire next week.
This marks Learning Disability Awareness Week, with the activities in the county being put on by the Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
A display stall will be set up on Monday, August 19 in Watford Town Centre, near Cafe Nero, from 12pm to 4pm for those who want to find out more about the campaign and services available.
The Trust's managing director for learning disabilities, Keith Moullin, said: "The Trust is determined to tackle the stigma that people with a learning disability face in their everyday lives, so we are delighted to support this national campaign."
