Dog lovers invited to bring pooches to The National Animal Welfare Trust's open day in Watford
Dogs of all shapes and sizes will be paraded through an animal charity’s Watford centre as part of its summer open day.
The National Animal Welfare Trust will be opening its doors to visitors as part of its annual open day on Monday, August 26.
The Tylers Way centre will open its doors at midday and there will be a host of activities available, including a fun dog show, a dog agility course and a canine parade.
There will also be more than 20 stalls selling items including bric-a-brac, books, homemade cakes and pet accessories.
Centre manager, Jackie de Friez, said: "It’s a great community day which really makes people aware of the work we do here at the centre and there’s always a wonderful atmosphere. We’re so grateful for people’s support."
The event will finish at 4pm.
